Well here it is – possibly the most highly optioned 1968 GT coupe in existence and best of all it is 1 of 1 according to the Marti report. Here we go….1968 factory GT coupe – San Jose built California car, S code 390 big block, C6 automatic, power steering, air conditioning, power disc brakes, locking differential, GT equipment group, tilt away wheel, AM radio, interior décor group (deluxe trim), front bench seat, tinted glass, deluxe seat belts, black vinyl roof, chrome styled wheels, 8,000 rpm tachometer, trip odometer, visibility group and more……. It was originally a special order vehicle for a Senior Ford Executive which is obviously why it was optioned so highly. The factory original paint colour was Lime gold, however it had an inexpensive repaint back in the 90's to red. It is a super solid unmolested car and a strong runner ready to be taken back to its former glory. Opportunities like this don't come up often so be quick.

1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback. This factory GT fastback is powered by a J code 302 4V (1968 Shelby base engine) and is coupled to a C4 automatic transmission and power steering. The black interior is in excellent condition and it also has the fold down rear seat option. Other options include turn signal hood, GT rally wheels, upgraded audio unit and all the usual GT options – GT gas cap, dual exhaust and GT fog lights – all of this is all backed up by a Marti report. The presidential blue (dark blue) paintwork is in excellent condition and it also sports the correct factory C stripe which is painted on (not just cheap decals). The true story of the quality of this Mustang is told when you drive it – It is a pleasure to drive with plenty of power and no squeaks or groans – it drives like new! 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback - In Transit - Eta late June, 2011 - SOLD
How hard are these to find these days... 1967 Ford Mustang C code fastback - This rare pony has the C4 automatic transmission, power steering and is a factory A/C car (although some of the under bonnet a/c items are now missing). It was built in San Jose , California and was originally frost turquoise - frost turquoise is a one year only colour and is extremely rare and not often seen on a fastback. It is now painted in white and the paintwork is very average but most importantly this fastback is rust free and super solid - it would be the ideal candidate for an Eleanor or Shelby clone.
The interior is very original and serviceable but could certainly do with some tlc, it has the fold down seat arrangement and still sports the original factory radio. The wheels are Vintage racing 45's and are fitted with BF Goodrich radial TA tyres. The engine bay is mostly original with a new aluminium radiator, new water pump and new alternator. Overall a rare survivor 67 fastback with huge potential....be quick for this one.

Here we have a super rare 1966 GT coupe in factory original raven black. The colour combination is outstanding with white GT stripes, new white wall tyres and white vinyl roof. This highly optioned GT comes fitted with automatic transmission, power steering and air conditioning as well as the normal factory GT options, those being Kelsey Hayes front disc brakes, GT badging, GT side stripes, GT dash, GT style steel wheels with new white wall tyres, GT gas cap and heavy duty GT suspension. Originally sold out of Los Angeles , it has spent its entire life in California and as you would expect is totally rust free. The engine bay is clean and tidy as is the trunk area. The standard black interior is in excellent condition and also sports a factory centre console. As we all know, GT coupes are becoming harder and harder to find, especially in rare colours like black.
